Hello and good morning. Today I have another nail polish by Alessandro for you. Actually, I wanted to show it another time, but since it's limited I had to blog it asap. The little gem I'm talking about is Alessandro Murky Woods from the Catch Me limited edition. Murky Woods... hmm... or Mirkwood? :D Whatever, I love the name choice!
So, why did I buy this nail polish? It looks like an ordinary brown, right? Nope! It's all Noreen's fault. I only have these two lightbox pictures for you, sorry, therefore you should definitely check out her beautiful swatches. The thing about this polish is that it's something between brown and gray. In daylight it's leaning toward gray and under artificial light it's obviously brown. A really strange, but beautiful color, just like Chanel Vertigo. The only difference is in the shimmer. Instead of pink, Murky Woods' shimmer is copper.
It's opaque in one coat and the formula is very good.
I can recommend it with clear conscience :)
What's your opinion on brown nail polishes? Would you wear such a color?
